LARALYNN ROSE
She came into the world
Not in the usual way,
But this thing does happen
So what could one say?
The sonogram revealed
She was in a bad position,
So Mommy had to go through
A double C-section.

This was a serious thing
But Mommy was in good hands
With skilled doctors, nurses,
And many praying bands.
Four doctors tended Mommy
While Baby was put aside;
No one noticed as yet
She hadn't breathed or cried!

Mercy! What was going on?
Baby was in distress;
One doctor came to the rescue
All in commotion and unrest.
The minutes ticked away
Daddy felt scared and sick;
Then Baby gave a loud wail
Oh, the sound of sweet music!

We watched her grow in the womb
And loved her from the start;
We could hardly wait to hold her
Real close to our heart.
Only six pounds six ounces
On the day of her birth,
Yet she's more precious than
Tons of gold on this earth.
Nineteen inches in length
That's not too terribly long,
Yet as time progresses
She'd grow up big and strong.

Full of sweetness and joy
With a cute button nose
She brought happiness to us,
Precious Laralynn Rose.
Oh, the miracle of birth
Comes down from God above
The Giver of all Life
Who showers us with love.

By His grace she'd be reared
In the nurture of the Lord
That she may live her life
According to His Word.
The Scripture plainly states:
Children are God's heritage;
May this precious child grow up
To reflect His pure image.

With His Loving Presence
May she always be graced;
With His Everlasting Arms
May she always be embraced.
May His Name be ever praised
With a loud and joyful noise;
For His goodness and mercy
Let's rejoice! Rejoice! Rejoice!
